About the position

The Videographer position at Jumpshot Recruit is a part-time role focused on capturing and creating high-quality video content for a sports organization dedicated to empowering high school basketball players. The role involves attending basketball games, conducting interviews, and producing highlight videos to enhance the organization's brand and outreach efforts.

Responsibilities

• Film and edit video content for branding and marketing on the website and social media.
• Attend 3 high school basketball games per month to film pre-game and post-game interviews and game highlight recap videos.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on creative projects, including photoshoots and hype videos.
• Stay updated on videography trends and contribute fresh ideas to enhance content quality.
• Manage video content organization and readiness for publication.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a videographer, preferably in sports-related content.
• Strong video editing skills, with proficiency in software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative mindset with a strong understanding of visual storytelling and sports media.
• Must have a flexible schedule to attend games in the evenings.

Nice-to-haves

• A strong plus if you have your own DSLR camera or professional video equipment.
• A passion for basketball or a background in sports videography.
