810 Varsity is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Sports Videographers. This part-time position involves live video streaming of high school sporting events primarily in the Johnson County area, as well as other locations in Kansas and Missouri. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports and video production, and will be responsible for ensuring high-quality live broadcasts of games. This role requires a commitment to being present at various sporting events, typically on Friday evenings and select weekdays, to capture the excitement of high school sports and deliver it to viewers online. As a Sports Videographer, you will be expected to arrive at the venue at least one hour before the event starts to set up your equipment and ensure everything is functioning properly. You will need to be live on-air 30 minutes prior to the start of the game, which means punctuality and reliability are crucial. The position requires knowledge of connecting to the internet via Ethernet or WiFi, as well as troubleshooting any connectivity issues that may arise during the live stream.
