DanceBUG Inc. is seeking a passionate and skilled Seasonal Videographer/Camera Operator to join our dynamic team for the upcoming dance season from February to June 2025. This role is pivotal in capturing and streaming dance competitions, recitals, and workshops across the United States. As a leader in Dance Media and Software, DanceBUG has been serving the dance community for nearly 25 years, providing innovative solutions such as 'Video Judge' and a comprehensive suite of software for Registration, Scheduling, Tabulation, and Streaming. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and managing video, audio, and streaming equipment on-site, ensuring high-quality recordings and broadcasts of performances. The position requires extensive travel nationwide, where you will work closely with your assigned Coach, Managers, and Onsite Contacts to ensure smooth operations during events. You will conduct daily video and audio tests, record and log performances, manage live broadcasts, and handle data uploads or shipments as necessary. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working under the demands of live events, including managing equipment and working long hours during production days. In addition to the technical skills required, candidates must possess a valid American Driver's License and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. The work environment can be loud and visually stimulating, so comfort with such conditions is essential. DanceBUG offers paid training in January and February, covering all travel and accommodation expenses, and providing all necessary equipment for the job.
