About the position
The Spotter position at NFI Industries involves driving, transporting, and positioning trailers at designated loading docks and staging areas. This role is essential for ensuring efficient loading and unloading operations within the facility, particularly during weekends.
Responsibilities
- Attach drive unit to trailers to move to and from dock doors for loading and unloading.
- Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and submit reports indicating truck condition.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to operate a truck and trailer safely.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for truck inspections.
