About the position

The TMZ Spring Internship Program offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in celebrity and entertainment news. Interns will be involved in various aspects of newsgathering, TV production, and digital content creation, working closely with senior staff and participating in informative sessions designed for their professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist with organizational projects and research in the assignment desk.
• Call sources for news gathering with prior approval.
• Participate in general news-gathering duties across various departments.
• Create original content for social media and partner brands.
• Edit video and perform research for social media use.
• Assist in editing and producing podcast clips.

Requirements

• Must be available for the entire internship session from March 2025 to May 2025.
• Must work a minimum of 20 hours per week, ideally in two or more 10-hour days.
• Must be comfortable with a work shift starting at 6:00 AM.
• Demonstrated knowledge in relevant areas of interest as reflected in coursework or prior experiences.
• Must be in their junior or senior year of college.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Audition for podcast and social media roles.
• Interest in celebrity lifestyle news for the TooFab.com department.
