About the position

The Senior Technical Lead in Java/J2EE, REST, and Spring Boot is responsible for leading the design and development of technical solutions using Java/J2EE technologies and the Spring Boot framework. This role involves providing technical guidance to the development team, ensuring high-quality code delivery, and optimizing system performance to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive the technical architecture design and development of Java/J2EE applications, RESTful APIs, and Spring Boot projects.
• Provide technical expertise in Java/J2EE, RESTful services, and Spring Boot to meet project objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshoot technical issues to maintain system stability.
• Mentor and coach junior team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Java/J2EE, REST, and Spring Boot.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE development and architecture.
• Expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience in developing applications using the Spring Boot framework.
• Proficient in database technologies like SQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively lead a technical team.

Nice-to-haves

• Relevant certifications in Java, Spring Boot, or RESTful services are a plus.
