About the position

The Mobile App Developer Co-op position at SharkNinja is designed for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in mobile application development and testing. This full-time, onsite role will involve collaboration with development and product teams to ensure the quality and functionality of mobile applications, focusing on identifying defects and executing test cases. The co-op will provide an opportunity to contribute to real projects while enhancing technical skills in a professional tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand mobile application requirements and functionalities.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts specifically for mobile applications.
• Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing for mobile platforms.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and provide updates on testing progress.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Provide feedback on user interface and user experience to enhance overall application quality.
• Support the team in maintaining documentation related to testing procedures and results.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Information Technology, or related program.
• Experience in mobile app testing and development is required.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Swift, Kotlin) and testing tools (e.g., Appium, Selenium, JIRA) is a plus.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
