About the position

The SQL BI Developer / Reporting Analyst position is focused on implementing data intelligence solutions within the Oil & Gas domain. The role requires extensive experience in SQL BI tools and methodologies, with a strong emphasis on data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with IT teams to drive innovation and research in business intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Implement data intelligence solutions using SQL BI tools.
• Conduct data analysis and reporting to support business needs.
• Collaborate with diverse IT teams to ensure effective data governance and quality assurance.
• Drive innovation and research in data visualization and business intelligence.
• Support user queries and perform analysis when issues arise, including testing and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in SQL BI development and reporting analysis.
• Deep knowledge of database management, data integration, and analytical modeling.
• Expertise in SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and other analytical tools.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL programming, scripting, and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with SSAS Cubes and data cube development.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Azure Services and Snowflake.
• Power BI skills and experience with DAX/MDX.
