About the position

The SQL Data Developer at Cadre5 is responsible for developing and maintaining complex SQL database solutions to support application development. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of software solutions while adhering to quality standards. The position requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues, as well as effective communication skills to work with various stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, implement, and support database systems to support application development.
  • Create and maintain SQL database solutions from scratch, including tables, indexes, keys, constraints, triggers, views, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production database-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Work effectively in a cross-functional team to ensure timely delivery of software solutions within budget.
  • Communicate and collaborate with clients, UI designers, business analysts, and other engineers throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in SQL development.
  • Experience with developing complex stored procedures using SQL.
  • Understanding of software development life cycles.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong listening skills.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

  • Familiarity with Data Architecture and Patterns.
  • Strong logical, analytical, and follow-up skills; must be proactive and take initiative.
