About the position
The Sr SQL Data Engineer role focuses on data modeling and PowerBI reporting, primarily utilizing T-SQL and Azure technologies. This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity, aimed at filling an existing role due to the unexpected departure of a previous employee. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data modeling and ETL processes, particularly in a healthcare context.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain T-SQL scripts for data extraction and transformation.
- Design and implement data models using PowerBI.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver insights.
- Optimize existing data models and ETL processes for performance.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in reporting.
Requirements
- Strong experience with T-SQL.
- Proven experience in data modeling with PowerBI.
- Solid understanding of Star Schemas and data warehousing concepts.
- Exposure to Azure and ETL processes.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in the healthcare industry.
- Familiarity with PowerRevenue Cycle.
