About the position

We are urgently seeking a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team in Fortworth, TX. This position is critical for managing and optimizing our database systems, ensuring data integrity, and supporting various applications that interact with our data warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management, particularly with SQL databases, and will be responsible for pulling transaction logs from stores (TLOGS) into our data warehouse. This role requires a hands-on approach to database administration, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and ensuring high availability of database services. In addition to managing the database systems, the DBA will support various applications that pull data via API calls for loading into the data warehouse. Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data warehousing concepts will be a significant advantage. The DBA will work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data across platforms and will be involved in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues as they arise. This is a contract position expected to last for 12 months, and we are looking for candidates who are available to work onsite in Fortworth, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Pull transaction logs from stores (TLOGS) into the data warehouse.
