About the position

The SQL Database Administrator position focuses on managing and optimizing SQL databases, with a specific emphasis on Cisco technologies. The role requires a strong background in database design, report development, and the ability to troubleshoot complex SQL queries. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco Unified Intelligence Center and Microsoft SQL/TSQL development, contributing to the overall efficiency and performance of database systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize SQL databases.
• Develop and maintain reports using SQL/TSQL.
• Design database structures to support business needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SQL queries and database issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database integrity and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience with Cisco Unified Intelligence Center (CUIC); 10+ years preferred.
• Experience as a Microsoft SQL/TSQL developer.
• Strong experience in database design and report development.
• Ability to understand and develop complex SQL queries for relational databases.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with IBM Informix.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Spanner).
