Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain new SQL Server databases.
  • Modify existing databases and database management systems.
  • Work directly with programmers and analysts to make changes.
  • Test database-related programs and correct errors.

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain SSIS packages.
  • Manage physical database resources including installation and maintenance.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Successful completion of 24 hours in computer science coursework or certification and three years of experience in database programming or system software programming and analysis, or four years of experience in the same fields.
  • Experience in Data Analytics, Data modeling, and Data Reporting.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with server operating systems and database management.
  • Experience in building redundancy, high-availability, and backup for databases.
  • Knowledge of database security principles and regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of T-SQL languages.
  • Ability to create and understand database design documentation.
  • Knowledge of database manipulation languages and scripting, specifically PowerShell.
