The responsibilities include conducting data analysis and database management, which involves maintaining and enhancing data dictionaries, as well as designing both physical and logical database models. Performance tuning is also a significant aspect of this role, ensuring that the database operates efficiently. The administrator will be responsible for the administration of application objects within the database, which includes maintaining business requirements for the database, database schema, data maps, and entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs). Additionally, the role involves performance tuning of database applications to optimize their functionality. Another critical duty is to inventory and catalog the existing SQL and MS Access data systems. This task is essential for improving the organization’s readiness for future development projects. The administrator will also be tasked with creating ad-hoc reports and editing existing reports as requested by end users. Supporting existing applications and workflows is another key responsibility, ensuring that all systems function effectively and meet the needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • SQL server administration experience.
  • Proficiency in SQL database design and development.
  • Ability to generate reports.
  • Experience with .asp web applications and Access databases.
  • VB programming skills.
  • Knowledge of web hosting and Microsoft IIS Web Server.
  • Experience in developing web applications using ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
