The position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $64.00 to $74.00, depending on experience and qualifications. The estimated duration of the employment is approximately 9 months, and the role is critical in ensuring the integration of various management functions to meet organizational goals. In this role, the SQL Database Analyst will partner with multiple management teams to resolve high-impact problems and projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes and system processes. The analyst will utilize their advanced knowledge of system flow to develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. A comprehensive understanding of how different areas of the business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to achieve business objectives is essential. The analyst will also be responsible for providing in-depth analysis and developing innovative solutions to defined issues, while maintaining strong relationships with key partners and senior management to influence decision-making. The position requires effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and a solid understanding of database structures, particularly in handling large data sets. Attention to detail and the ability to manage and prioritize workloads under ambiguity are crucial for success in this role. Responsibilities

  • Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals
  • Resolve a variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
  • Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and senior management to influence behavior and decision-making
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Company, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent area of study preferred
  • 5+ years of strong experience with Stored Procedures, Functions, and SQL scripting for Postgres Database
  • 5+ years working knowledge of database structure
  • 5+ years of working experience with SQL
  • Experience using JIRA, Confluence, Postgres, PGAdmin, and Datagrip is a plus
  • Very strong in terms of coding practices and code optimization
  • Basic knowledge of industry practices and standards
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of database structures and comfortable with large data sets
  • Attention to detail
  • Comfortable under ambiguity
  • Ability to maintain composure and manage and prioritize workloads
