About the position

The SQL Database Developer at Trinity Solar is responsible for writing SQL code and developing database objects and structures for data storage, retrieval, and reporting. The role requires collaboration with team members to assess business rules and technical requirements, as well as optimizing SQL queries and developing data architecture models. The position emphasizes a learning culture and values teamwork, diversity, and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret business requirements.
• Write SQL queries and develop stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Analyze, debug, and optimize existing SQL queries.
• Develop ADF, SSIS packages to migrate data from Salesforce to SQL Server or from one SQL Server environment to another for testing and development.
• Develop data architecture models based on BRD for new and existing applications using ER tools.
• Hands-on development, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
• Hands-on development in Databricks is a plus.
• Good understanding of Data integration, Data Quality, and data architecture.
• Help write and optimize Power BI SQL Statements and be familiar with DAX code.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related technical experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in SQL Server development.
• Experience in writing, debugging, and optimizing SQL code.
• Strong problem solving, T-SQL, SSIS packages, ADF and debugging skills.
• Power BI development skills and experience in creating complex dashboards is a plus.
• Databricks knowledge.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-driven, pro-active.
