About the position

As a SQL Server Database Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing database models and scripts that support commission payout processes. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions, ensuring accurate and efficient calculations through your expertise in SQL Server and database modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts for commission calculations.
• Design and implement robust database models to support business operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous testing and validation.
• Document database structures, processes, and workflows for internal use.
• Assist in the migration and integration of data across various systems.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in database development and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in database development with a focus on SQL Server.
• Proven experience in database modeling and design.
• Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Familiarity with commission payout structures and calculations is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
