About the position

The SQL Database Developer will provide database development support for existing and new SQL databases, focusing on applications development, maintenance, and operations support across all Enterprise SQL databases and SQL Server Reporting Services. The role requires expertise in various database technologies and methodologies, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of database systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide database development support for existing and new SQL databases.
• Maintain and operate all Enterprise SQL databases and SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Design and implement data extraction using Replication, Stored Procedures, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Develop Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Server (SSRS) reports.
• Create, debug, optimize stored procedures and monitor database performance.
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) for database development and report administration.
• Produce requirements documents, systems architecture, data model diagrams, and procedural manuals.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least three (3) years of experience in database development and reporting.
• Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Electronic Health Care Record Systems.
• Experience in supporting enterprise solutions within a health care and/or correctional environment.
• Experience with organizational change management.
