About the position
The Bancorp's Internship program offers students a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry. Interns will engage in real projects that enhance their understanding of the field while contributing to the company's operations. This program is designed to complement academic learning with practical job experience.
Responsibilities
- Reviews existing processes and creates process flow diagrams to understand data and reporting issues.
- Develops ETL application code for parsing, extracting, and loading data.
- Documents, tests, and debugs data programs using standard testing and validation protocols.
- Groups and summarizes data to optimize performance for scheduled processes and end user reporting.
- Reviews existing applications used by DBA & ETL team to gain familiarity and contribute to enhanced internal process documentation.
- Reviews available database technologies including AI to make recommendations for potential application within DBA and ETL teams' processes.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present ideas to senior leadership.
- Team player, able to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Eligible to work for any employer in the United States for the full duration of the internship.
- Enrolled full-time in an undergraduate college degree program at the rising junior level, junior or senior level standing, enrolled in a master's program or recently graduated within the past six months.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
