About the position

As a SQL Developer at CitiusTech, you will play a crucial role in our Agile team, focusing on building healthcare applications and implementing new features while adhering to the best coding development standards. Your primary responsibility will be to leverage your extensive experience in SQL and PL/SQL to ensure the integrity and quality of data across various healthcare systems. You will be expected to have a sound knowledge of Data Warehousing (DWH) and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) concepts, which are essential for managing and processing large datasets effectively. In this position, you will run data queries to identify data integrity issues between various data sources, coordinating the reconciliation and exception handling processes. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with multiple stakeholder groups to identify and help implement data governance and data quality standards. A good understanding of data models will be necessary for you to write and perform data validation and checks, ensuring that the data used in our applications is accurate and reliable. We are looking for someone with exceptional critical thinking, analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills. You should be a self-starter who can work well both in teams and independently on tasks. The ability to take direction well and prioritize work for timely delivery is essential. A background in healthcare or radiology is preferred, along with knowledge of State and Federal laws, including HIPAA, that pertain to the confidentiality of protected health information.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in SQL and PL/SQL development.
  • Proficient knowledge in Data Warehousing (DWH) and ETL concepts.
  • Experience with Google Cloud technologies, specifically BigQuery and Spanner.
  • Strong understanding of data integrity and data quality standards.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to implement data governance practices.
  • Good understanding of data models for validation and checks.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal laws, including HIPAA, regarding protected health information.

Nice-to-haves

  • Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.
  • Healthcare or Radiology background preferred.
