About the position

The SQL Developer II at Procede Software is responsible for migrating customer data to the company's platform, primarily during after-hours. This role supports the Implementation and Professional Services teams by providing SQL development expertise to create scripts and tools that ensure successful project execution. The position requires collaboration with various teams to enhance data migration processes and improve code modularity, focusing on high-quality, accurate work in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Migrate customer data to Procede Software's platform during after-hours migrations.
• Provide SQL expertise to the Implementation and Professional Services teams to develop scripts and tools for project success.
• Assist the Development Team with projects that align with conversion workloads.
• Develop repeatable, scalable database scripts and tools to enhance data migration and conversion processes.
• Drive improvements in code modularity and enable partial deployments to reduce service interruptions and risk.
• Conduct detailed source code analysis for optimization, scalability, and security enhancements.
• Diagnose and resolve defects in production environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 6 years in a SQL Developer role.
• Proficiency with MS SQL Server, including stored procedures, indexing, and triggers.
• Familiarity with Team Foundation Server or similar ALM tools.
• Working knowledge of enterprise software development.
• Experience with C# is a plus.
