About the position

The SQL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating programs for various internal functional areas such as finance, human resources, and marketing. This role involves analyzing existing programs, formulating logic for new systems, and preparing documentation for system implementation. The SQL Developer will also train users on system conversion and implementation processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, and evaluate programs for internal functional areas.
• Analyze existing programs and formulate logic for new systems.
• Devise logic procedures and prepare flowcharting.
• Perform coding and test/debug programs.
• Develop conversion and system implementation plans.
• Prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation.
• Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.
• Train users in conversion and implementation of systems.

Requirements

• 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
• Detailed knowledge of procedures, utilities, and program scripts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
