About the position

The SQL Developer position at Creed Infotech involves strong SQL Server development skills, focusing on designing and optimizing OLAP and OLTP database schemas. The role includes mentoring team members, analyzing and tuning SQL queries, and implementing best practices for database management. This is a contract position based in Jersey City, NJ, with a hybrid work model allowing for both in-office and remote work.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and mentor the team on OLAP and OLTP database schema design.
• Design tables, stored procedures, views, indexes, user-defined functions, and other database objects for Tier 1 and Tier 2 applications.
• Analyze and performance tune SQL queries to improve response times without affecting application performance.
• Implement and document best practices for database object creation, maintenance, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Develop and document measures for data quality, data discovery, and data lineage.

Requirements

• 11+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• 8 years of experience with SQL SSIS.
• 9 years of experience in a senior-level role.
• 10 years of experience with Informatica or Jenkins.
• Strong SQL Server development experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with CI/CD deployments using Jenkins or DACPAC.
• Informatica development experience.
