About the position

The SQL Developer (W2) role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems to support business operations. The position requires expertise in SQL development, data modeling, and ETL processes, with a focus on performance tuning and data visualization. The role is primarily onsite for the first month in Miami, FL, followed by a hybrid remote work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify database schemas, tables, views, indexes, and relationships based on business requirements.
• Design and implement data models to organize and structure data effectively.
• Write SQL queries to insert, update, delete, and retrieve data from the database.
• Migrate data from one database to another during deployments.
• Analyze query performance and optimize SQL queries, indexes, and database configurations.
• Develop dashboards that gather data from various sources for analysis.
• Design, develop, and deploy reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Design and develop ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Deploy SSIS packages to transfer and load data between different systems and databases.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in SQL development.
• 2 years of experience with SSIS.
• 2 years of experience with SSRS.
• 10 years of experience in IT.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft PowerBI.
• Familiarity with MS Visual Studio SSDT Tools, SSMS, E/R Studio, and Stylus Studio.
