The SQL Developer position is focused on delivering education mission-driven solutions that support educational institutions. The successful candidate will engage with the latest .NET technologies and tools, providing an opportunity to collaborate with a project team to analyze and document requirements effectively. This role emphasizes refining complex data validations using MS SQL, and it encompasses full-stack web development, requiring hands-on experience with back-end tools. In this role, the candidate will balance independent work with collaborative efforts alongside a technical team and a close-knit group of business users and data analysts. The contractor will coordinate work tasks with the Subject Matter Expert (SME) team and the IT project manager, receiving support from the Database Administrator (DBA) and lead developer. As part of the agency's application development team, the contractor will participate in regular team check-ins and collaboration opportunities, ensuring alignment with project goals and stakeholder expectations. Daily responsibilities will include business analysis meetings with stakeholders, independent development work, data refinement through SQL queries, and testing of developed solutions. The technical environment for this position includes Visual Studio 2017 and 2022, MS SQL Server, and TFS, with a focus on tools and technologies such as C#, APIs, .NET Core, MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, LINQ, MSSQL, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Bootswatch, Entity Framework, EF Core, and REST Services.
