About the position

We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database design and management, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop efficient SQL queries. This role is crucial for supporting our data-driven decision-making processes and enhancing our overall data architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases to support various applications and reporting needs.
• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Analyze data trends and patterns to provide insights that drive business strategies.
• Implement best practices for database performance tuning and optimization.
• Work with tools such as Informatica for data integration tasks.
• Participate in model training initiatives to enhance predictive analytics capabilities.
• Support linked data initiatives by integrating diverse datasets across platforms.
• Document database designs, processes, and workflows for future reference.
• Front end application development.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL programming and database management systems is required.
• Knowledge of database design principles and best practices is essential.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
• Experience with additional languages such as Python, C, C++, C#, etc. preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with linked data concepts and implementation is a plus.
• Familiarity with VBA for automation of tasks within databases is advantageous.
