We are seeking a skilled and analytical SQL Developer to join our team at CostQuest Associates, Inc. The SQL Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining database systems, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing performance. You will work closely with other team members to design and implement data solutions that meet the needs of our clients, which include Fortune 100 companies and government departments. In this position, you will leverage your expertise in SQL and database management to extract, transform, and manipulate data. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of relational and dimensional database concepts, as well as experience with various database platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and others. Your role will also involve building data warehouses for analytics and performing spatial analysis in PostgreSQL. You will be responsible for writing stored procedures, views, triggers, and indexes using T-SQL, and you will have the opportunity to work with cloud database platforms like Azure and AWS. The SQL Developer will also be involved in project work, collaborating with other developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions. You will be expected to demonstrate advanced knowledge of working with and optimizing large datasets, as well as a basic understanding of SSIS and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). This position requires occasional travel to Seattle and other locations, and candidates must meet U.S. Government clearance requirements.
