About the position

The SQL Developer role is focused on supporting the State of TN's TN DATA platform, which involves managing various data use cases related to education, human services, and more. The position emphasizes the complete data lifecycle, including ingestion, cleaning, and ensuring data quality, particularly within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role requires strong skills in SQL, ETL, and database design to develop and optimize database solutions that drive business insights.

Responsibilities

• Leverage core skills in databases, ETL, SQL, and analysis to design and optimize database solutions.
• Develop innovative data solutions using Tableau, AWS, and SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data processes.
• Support efficient project delivery and data management with Agile methodologies.
• Ensure data quality throughout the data lifecycle from ingestion to presentation.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience with AWS (Preferred)
• 1 year of experience with SQL (Preferred)
• 1 year of experience with databases (Preferred)

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Familiarity with BigQuery and Dataflow
