About the position

Infosys is seeking a SQL Developer who will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The role involves requirements elicitation, application architecture knowledge, and design, with a focus on creating high-level design artifacts and delivering high-quality code. The SQL Developer will lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty, while fostering a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and diversity.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with key stakeholders to gather requirements and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the SDLC.
  • Create high-level design artifacts and deliver high-quality code for a module.
  • Lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.
  • Participate in new product/project design calls and team meetings, providing appropriate solutions and implementing agreed-upon solutions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues reported in production and other environments.
  • Document production rollout activities and change requests appropriately in respective tools and applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Experience in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, SSIS, SSRS, and RabbitMQ.
  • Strong programming and analytical skills to support mission-critical applications.
  • Experience in managing large volume data in database tables.
  • Experience in designing, programming, deploying, reporting, and troubleshooting Oracle and MSSQL objects.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.

  • Experience in Telecom.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
