About the position

The SQL Server Developer role is a long-term contract position based in Louisville, Kentucky. The candidate should also be well-versed in query optimization and performance tuning techniques to ensure efficient database operations. Familiarity with ETL tools, particularly Azure services, is essential for this role, as the developer will be expected to work with large databases, specifically those exceeding 1TB in size. Additionally, the candidate should possess leadership capabilities, as they will be responsible for leading a small team of 3-4 developers. An Azure certification is considered a valuable asset for this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL Server databases and applications.
• Optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency.
• Lead a team of 3-4 developers in SQL projects.
