This position is for an SQL Developer who will play a crucial role in an enterprise initiative focused on ServiceNow CMDB, IT Asset Management (ITAM), and Application Performance Management (APM) Reporting and Analytics. The primary responsibilities will involve creating, managing, and advancing enterprise-wide processes in coordination with IT operations. The ideal candidate will possess superior coding skills in SQL, specifically T-SQL and Spark SQL, and will be adept at creating automated reporting solutions utilizing the Power Platform, including Power BI and Power Automate. The SQL Developer will primarily engage in data discovery, mapping, scripting, and automating solutions. This role requires collaboration with IT operation groups to clarify business rules, processes, and policies. The candidate will be expected to write complex SQL queries, manage temporary tables, and perform data scrubbing and preprocessing. Additionally, the role involves query optimization techniques such as partitioning, indexing, and scans, as well as designing and managing stored procedures and utilizing Common Table Expressions (CTE) commands. The SQL Developer will also be responsible for creating automated dashboards in Power BI that rely on server and serverless connections, coding in DAX, and developing automated dataflows. The position is consumer-facing within the IT department, requiring direct interaction with Associate Directors, Managers, and front-line operations. Strong communication skills and responsiveness are essential for success in this role.
