About the position

We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join our team in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SQL databases. This role requires a strong understanding of database management systems, data modeling, and performance tuning. The SQL Developer will work closely with other developers and stakeholders to ensure that database solutions meet business requirements and are optimized for performance. In this position, you will be tasked with writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support various applications. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving database issues, ensuring data integrity, and implementing security measures to protect sensitive information. The SQL Developer will participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for database development and management. Additionally, you will be involved in the migration of existing databases to new environments, as well as the integration of new data sources. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions that enhance database performance and reliability. You will also be expected to document database designs, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
