About the position

AGDATA is seeking a Senior MS SQL Developer to support and manage client data flow. This full-time position can be fully remote and involves ownership of database systems and ETL processes, enhancing system performance, and troubleshooting technical issues. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and enthusiastic about learning complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of a core set of database systems and ETL processes.
• Propose and implement system enhancements.
• Write, analyze, optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and packages.
• Create and maintain technical design documentation.
• Use troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Experience utilizing BIDS and SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS) for ETL related tasks.
• Experience managing and troubleshooting SQL Server Agent Jobs, SSIS, DTS.
• Experience writing complex queries, query tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience writing complex stored procedures and functions, as well as supporting/enhancing existing ones.
• Experience with creating/modifying database schema, tables, indexes, etc.
• Self-motivated with a strong customer needs focus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
