Additionally, the role involves investigating, analyzing, and documenting reported defects, performing maintenance programming, and correcting identified issues. The SQL Developer will effectively serve as a member of an Agile-oriented software development team, participating in code and design reviews, and contributing technical content to as-built documents. Responsibilities

• Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents.
• Contribute technical content to as-built documents.
• Create, document, and implement unit-test plans, scripts, and test-harnesses.
• Perform Data Modeling and maintain SQL stored procedures, views, triggers, scheduled tasks, and DDL scripts.
• Investigate, analyze, and document reported defects.
• Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.
• Serve as a member of an Agile-oriented software development team.
• Participate in code and design reviews.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in SQL development, particularly with T-SQL scripting.
• 5+ years of experience developing software in a Client/Server environment.
• Ability to interpret documented business requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
• Experience performing advanced level SQL development tasks according to published standards and design guidelines.
• Understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Demonstrated history of professional growth in SQL Server development.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
