About the position

As a SQL Developer at ConversantIT, Inc., you will play a crucial role in enhancing the performance and efficiency of our database systems. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze existing SQL queries to identify areas for performance improvements, ensuring that our database solutions are not only effective but also adhere to industry standards and conventions. You will be tasked with developing high-quality database solutions that meet the needs of our business and its users. This includes the development, implementation, and optimization of stored procedures and functions using T-SQL, which are essential for maintaining the integrity and performance of our databases. In addition to development tasks, you will review and interpret ongoing business report requirements, building appropriate and useful reporting deliverables that provide insights into our operations. Your role will also involve developing procedures and scripts for data migration, ensuring that data is transferred accurately and efficiently between systems. Timely management reporting will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, as you will provide scheduled reports that inform decision-making processes. You will also investigate exceptions related to asset movements, monitoring and modifying performance through execution plans and index tuning. Collaboration with business users will be essential, as you will coordinate with them to analyze business requirements and translate these into technical specifications that guide your development efforts. This position requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Master's degree or a foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Applications, Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering (any) or related field.
• Two years of experience in any position/title providing experience with SQL.
