About the position

The position involves software engineering responsibilities, including the design, coding, testing, and documentation of computer programs. The role requires proficiency in SQL and experience with various development tools, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and document computer programs.
• Utilize SQL with Oracle technologies for database management.
• Work with Linux/Unix command line and Vi Editor.
• Engage in full stack development using Ingres and/or Oracle.
• Apply principles and practices in the software development life cycle.
• Utilize Agile methodology and tools like JIRA and GIT.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or an Associate's degree with IT certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in SQL using Oracle technologies.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix and command line / Vi Editor.
• Experience with development tools like SQL Developer and TOAD.
• Full stack development experience using Ingres and/or Oracle.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Agile methodology and tools like JIRA and GIT.
