About the position

As a SQL Developer at iSphere.net, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data solutions that meet business requirements. This role requires advanced T-SQL and query optimization expertise, along with a strong foundation in relational databases and knowledge of non-relational databases (NoSQL). You will also utilize Business Intelligence (BI) and data warehousing technologies to provide effective reporting and analysis, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Write, review, and optimize advanced T-SQL queries.
  • Understand business requirements and data flows to design and implement robust data solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relational databases, with expertise in database design, management, and query optimization.
  • Work with non-relational databases (NoSQL) and provide insight into best practices for their implementation.
  • Utilize BI and data warehousing technologies, ensuring solutions are scalable and maintainable.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with organizational objectives.
  • Provide support for ETL processes, including the use of SSIS, SQL CDC, and SQL Replication.
  • Implement and manage PowerBI, SSRS, and SSAS for effective reporting and analysis.
  • Perform scripting and automation using PowerShell.
  • Work with cloud technologies, with a preference for Azure.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in SQL development and database management.
  • Proven expertise in advanced T-SQL, relational database design, and performance tuning.
  • Experience in BI/data warehousing development, with strong skills in reporting and analytics tools.
  • Strong knowledge of non-relational databases (NoSQL) and cloud technologies such as Azure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams.
