About the position

The SQL Developer position is focused on developing and maintaining database objects and ETL packages within a rapidly growing financial integration and security services company. The role requires expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and related technologies, with opportunities for mentorship and collaboration within a stable organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a full range of objects in Microsoft SQL 2016 databases using SQL and T-SQL.
• Create and maintain ETL packages with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Collaborate with team members to resolve performance tuning issues related to SQL, T-SQL, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Utilize Microsoft data concepts including SSIS, SSRS, and SQL/T-SQL for data management and reporting.
• Work with Snowflake cloud data warehouse and Sigma Computing analytics platform as needed.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience in SQL development with Microsoft SQL 2016 or better.
• Four or more years of experience creating and maintaining ETL packages with SSIS.
• Mastery of relational database concepts including tables, keys, and indexes.
• Ability to construct complex queries and DML/DDL statements for large multi-terabyte databases.
• Two or more years of experience in performance tuning for SQL, T-SQL, SSIS, and SSRS.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of Snowflake cloud data warehouse.
• Experience with Sigma Computing analytics platform.
• Familiarity with Database Projects, MS-ISPACs, and DACPACs.
