About the position

The SQL Developer position is focused on developing and maintaining SQL applications within a collaborative and supportive team environment. The role requires strong analytical problem-solving skills and involves working with existing applications while engaging with the development team to enhance reporting and database functionalities.

Responsibilities

• Read and write complex queries using SQL.
• Create database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, and user-defined functions.
• Modify existing reporting content in SQL.
• Utilize SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for report creation and management.
• Create report subscriptions and export data into various formats including Excel, PDF, CSV, or XML.
• Import and export data from/to SQL tables.
• Create and schedule jobs to run automatically on the database using SSMS.
• Adhere to appropriate standards and procedures during the development process.
• Communicate with internal users regarding specific requests.
• Participate in meetings, documentation, task, and time tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of SQL development experience using SSMS.
• Proficient in SQL Server and TSQL.
• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Familiarity with OOP, preferably .NET/C#.

• Strong communication skills to interact with end users outside of IT.
