About the position

GDH Consulting is seeking a highly skilled SQL ETL Developer to contribute to the DHR Dashboards project. The role involves the analysis, design, and development of ETL packages and SSRS reports, focusing on data warehousing and DataMart aspects. The developer will be responsible for creating, scheduling, and implementing SSIS packages to load data from various sources into SQL Server, while collaborating with project stakeholders to gather requirements and implement dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ETL packages using SSIS for data loading into SQL Server.
• Create and manage SSRS reports for the DHR Dashboards project.
• Assist in requirements gathering and migration planning with project stakeholders.
• Implement security access measures for data handling and reporting.
• Schedule ETL and data refresh scripts to ensure timely data availability.
• Analyze multiple source systems to build transformation rules for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Develop stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers using SQL Server and TSQL.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager, Database Administrator, and Power BI developer to ensure project success.

Requirements

• 8+ years of IT experience in data warehousing, data modeling, data integration, data migration, ETL processes, and business intelligence.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server database and related technologies (SQL, OLAP).
• Experience with ETL tools such as Microsoft SSIS, SSAS, and reporting tools like SSRS.
• Proficient in developing complex SSRS reports and implementing .Net, C# script tasks in SSIS.
• Deep understanding of Data Warehousing SDLC and architecture of ETL, reporting, and BI tools.
• Strong skills in data modeling (relational, dimensional, star and snowflake schema) and data analysis.
• Ability to develop ETL mappings and perform various transformations during data loading.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI tools for business intelligence reporting.
• Familiarity with logical and physical data modeling techniques.
• Knowledge of advanced SQL query optimization techniques.
