About the position

GDH Consulting is seeking a highly skilled SQL ETL Developer to contribute to the DHR Dashboards project. The role involves the analysis, design, and development of ETL packages and SSRS reports, focusing on data warehousing and integration. The developer will be responsible for creating and implementing SSIS packages to load data into SQL Server, collaborating with project stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful dashboard implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, schedule, and implement SSIS packages for data loading into SQL Server Database.
• Assist Project Manager and Database Administrator with requirements gathering and migration planning.
• Implement security access and dashboard functionalities for DHR Dashboards project.
• Analyze multiple source systems and build transformation rules for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Develop complex SSRS reports using SSIS packages.
• Implement .Net and C# script tasks in SSIS.
• Create stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers using SQL Server and TSQL.
• Schedule ETL and data refresh scripts.

Requirements

• 8+ years of IT experience focusing on data warehousing, data modeling, data integration, data migration, ETL processes, and business intelligence.
• Strong knowledge of database technologies including SQL and OLAP.
• Experience with SQL Server database and ETL tools (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
• Deep understanding of Data Warehousing SDLC and architecture of ETL, reporting, and BI tools.
• Strong skills in data modeling (relational, dimensional, star and snowflake schema).
• Ability to develop ETL mappings and perform data transformations.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI tools.
• Familiarity with logical and physical data modeling techniques.
