About the position

The SQL ETL Developer at Chromalloy is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration and ETL processes using tools such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Azure Data solutions. This role is crucial for ensuring data quality and integrity while optimizing ETL processes for performance and scalability. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and other data integration tools.
• Optimize and tune ETL processes for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL processes and data integration.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and error handling mechanisms.
• Develop and maintain documentation for ETL processes, data flows, and data mappings.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years' experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) using Microsoft Integration Services / SSIS.
• 5+ years' experience in data preparation, data gateway, and data warehousing projects.
• Experience with SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and other ETL tools and technologies.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and T-SQL.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data integration solutions is a plus.
