The SQL/PL SQL Developer with ETL role is a critical position responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of data-warehouse, database, and business intelligence applications. This position is primarily focused on PL SQL and SQL development, with a strong emphasis on ETL processes using Informatica. The developer will engage in hands-on new development as well as provide support, maintenance, and enhancements for existing applications. The role requires a deep understanding of SQL and the ability to write and optimize advanced SQL queries to ensure efficient data processing and retrieval. In this role, the developer will design and implement ETL processes using SQL, ETL tools, and Linux shell scripting to deliver high-quality solutions. Strong data analysis skills are essential, as the developer will be responsible for resolving defects and collaborating with multiple teams to ensure data integrity and quality. The position also involves leading and developing complex Informatica PowerCenter ETL flows that connect to heterogeneous databases, including Oracle and MS SQL Server. Additionally, the developer will create complex Oracle procedures, functions, and packages to support various database applications, including API calls and data warehouse reporting. Hands-on experience with Unix shell scripting is required, as well as an understanding of job scheduling tools like Autosys. The developer will perform data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues and ensure that the data meets the necessary standards for reporting and analysis. This role is available in multiple locations, including Addison, TX, Chicago, IL, Atlanta, GA, and Richmond, VA.
