About the position
The SQL/PLSQL Developer role involves assisting with the design and development of internal business systems for a client, focusing on the integration of various functional areas such as finance and supply chain. The position requires a strong background in software design, development, and systems integration, with responsibilities including transitioning counties to the client system and providing support for existing applications.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the design and development of internal business systems.
- Transition counties from current software packages to the client system.
- Implement, support, maintain, and enhance the client project.
- Provide county-facing software, phone, and electronic support for sixty counties.
- Conduct new county software installations and provide one-on-one training.
- Perform data conversion from source legacy to target systems.
- Participate in state-wide meetings to support and enhance the client system.
- Provide training on the client system and processes to small and large groups.
- Manage software and system enhancements for the existing Oracle version 19c database.
- Develop import/export integration programs to transfer data in and out of the client system.
- Administer SharePoint site (limited duties).
- Manage release management for periodic client software releases.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in SQL/PL SQL.
- 5+ years of experience in object-oriented programming languages using Virtual Component Library (VCL).
- Extensive knowledge of Windows 11 Enterprise and Windows Server 2015+.
- Extensive knowledge of Oracle RDBMS and PL/SQL Developer.
- Experience with Oracle DB Admin Tools and Enterprise Manager.
Nice-to-haves
- Delphi programming experience using RAD Studio 2007+.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
