About the position

Our client is seeking a skilled SQL/PLSQL Developer with expertise in Azure. The ideal candidate will be an expert in SQL, capable of working on complex queries, and have a strong background in data warehousing and data pipeline development. This role requires a deep understanding of SQL and PLSQL, as well as experience with cloud-based data platforms, particularly Azure. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing SQL queries, managing data warehousing solutions, and building efficient data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. Additionally, familiarity with ETL tools, particularly IBM Data Stage or similar, is essential for this position. The role may also involve scripting tasks, requiring knowledge of Perl or Linux Shell scripting to automate processes and enhance data workflows. Candidates should have a proven track record of working with complex data structures and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
• Design and implement data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex query development.
• Strong experience in data warehousing and building data pipelines.
• Expertise with Azure or similar cloud-based data platform.
• 7 to 8 years of relevant experience in SQL/PLSQL development.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of TSQL for additional database management tasks.
• Experience with other ETL tools beyond IBM Data Stage.
