About the position

The SQL Reporting Developer position at NewRez involves creating and modifying SQL stored procedures and reports, primarily using Visual C++ and Microsoft SQL. The role requires close collaboration with Business Analysts to gather requirements and ensure the best solutions are implemented. This position is critical for financial calculations and enhancing existing applications.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify complex SQL stored procedures for financial calculations.
• Enhance and modify existing Windows applications developed in VC++/MFC.
• Create or modify reports in Crystal Reports.
• Create or modify imports and exports for interfacing with third-party vendors.
• Interact closely with Business Analysts to clarify requirements and assess solutions.
• Unit test all changes made to the code.
• Provide assistance to QA teams.
• Participate in code reviews of other developers' work.

Requirements

• Experience with Visual C++ and Microsoft SQL (T-SQL).
• Exposure to VB, VB Script, and Crystal Reports is preferred.
• Experience or knowledge of mortgage servicing is preferred.
