We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team at FTS Inc. in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our databases. This role is crucial in ensuring that our database systems are designed, implemented, and maintained effectively to support our business operations. The Database Administrator will work closely with IT teams to integrate database systems and ensure that they meet the needs of the organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in database administration and will be proficient in various database technologies, particularly Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL. In this position, you will be tasked with optimizing database performance, ensuring data security and integrity, and performing regular backups to guarantee data availability. You will also troubleshoot any database-related issues that arise and collaborate with other IT professionals to enhance our database systems. The role requires a proactive approach to database management and a commitment to maintaining high standards of data quality and security. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 per year, and it offers a flexible schedule to accommodate work-life balance. The work location is in person at our Rochester, NY office, and the schedule consists of an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday.
