About the position

The SQL Server DBA Team Lead will oversee SQL Server environments, ensuring best practices in planning, design, configuration, and performance across distributed, multi-datacenter setups. This role involves providing technical support, leading project planning, and implementing security protocols to enhance scalability and compliance within database systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SQL Server environments and ensure best practices in planning, design, configuration, and performance.
• Provide Tier III technical support and assist application development.
• Troubleshoot production issues while coordinating with network and storage teams.
• Lead project planning and documentation efforts.
• Implement security protocols and propose enhancements for scalability and compliance within database systems.

Requirements

• 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study.
• 9 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
• Experience managing MS SQL Server environments including DB VM servers.

Nice-to-haves

• SQL Server DBA certification is preferred.
