About the position

The Database Applications Administrator (DBAA) is responsible for the installation, management, support, and maintenance of the SQL Server database environment at Dinsmore & Shohl. This hybrid role ensures that critical and sensitive business data is maintained and available according to firm requirements and best practices. The DBAA also provides SQL and data analytics support to application support staff and other personnel within the firm.

Responsibilities

• Install, manage, support, and maintain the SQL Server database environment.
• Ensure critical and sensitive business data is maintained and available based on firm requirements and best practices.
• Provide SQL and data analytics support to application support staff and other firm personnel.

Requirements

• 5+ years supporting and maintaining MS SQL Environment
• Expert understanding of MS Transact-SQL
• Solid understanding and background of various SQL Server versions
• Experience with Enterprise Manager and SQL Management Studio
