About the position

The SQL Server Developer/Administrator role involves developing and managing high-quality database solutions using MS SQL Server in both on-premise and Azure cloud environments. The position requires a strong understanding of T-SQL coding, database troubleshooting, and the ability to design systems based on user requirements. The developer will also be responsible for optimizing database performance and ensuring timely delivery of reporting deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality database solutions using MS SQL Server.
• Write T-SQL code and design new systems based on user requirements.
• Perform logical and physical data modeling and design.
• Implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL.
• Review and interpret ongoing business requirements to design solutions.
• Build reporting deliverables using SQL Server procedures.
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
• Debug and troubleshoot coding errors.
• Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.
• Monitor errors, locks, deadlocks, and resource utilization.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of experience in SQL Server development and administration.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Solid understanding of MS SQL Server database troubleshooting.
• Experience with ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and SSIS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience with Azure cloud environments.
